We were able to review the final exams today. Tomorrow students will receive their final grade for my class and Monday will be their last day for rotation two. Please review with your student their school schedule so that they know what new class they start on Tuesday.

German students watched commericials, in German, about food today to reinforce their food vocabulary. They also ahad an activity with their food vocabulary.
Spanish students received their food vocabulary list today and filled in the missing vocab words by watching videos on the food and culture.
French students had several verbal activities to practice using their food vocabulary then played the card game of War! (French educational version) to practice their numbers.

Everyone needs to remember to stay healthy by washing your hands, covering your sneezes and coughs with your arm and DO NOT COME TO SCHOOL WITH A FEVER! As a parent, I know it’s hard to take off work but you have to keep sick children at home. Thank-you!
German students played food bingo all class period and there is no homework for tonight.
Spanish students did a quick activity to practice their adjectives and then received a project that is due tomorrow.
French students watched a video on French Cuisine.
Everyone has a quiz this Friday.

German students received the food vocabulary list today and played war to practice their numbers in German. Have them explain to you how to play and give it a go! It’s fun!!
Spanish students learned about articles and adjectives through video shorts and worksheets.

German students learned about Oktoberfest today. Do you know what this festival is really about?
Spanish students finished the Ecuador video and then learned a little about some of Mexico’s most traditional food. Would you like a grasshopper taco today?
French students are actually learning what was in the post from yesterday because I went home ill. They do have a project to complete over the weekend.

German students worked on their Wunderbar Mich book project. It is due tomorrow.
Spanish students traveled to Ecuador (through a video).
French students received their vocabulary three worksheet, learned a song about the days and learned how to tell time iin French including the 24 hour clock.

German students watched a fun video of Ich habe es gern (I like it). After the video, they received the Wünderbar Mich project (due on Friday).
Spanish students went to the computer lab today to create a weather forecast, in Spanish.

We are half way through with this rotation. Please expect to see a progress report on Thursday. It will need to be signed and returned for a grade by Friday.
German students continued to watch the video on Germany and Austria.
Spanish students had a verbal activity and then a writing activity in Spanish. If they had spare time, they were to work on their quiz corrections.

We are almost half way through the second rotatation and the first trimester! Isn’t incredible how quickly time flies?
German students visited Germany today with Mr. Rick Steves (in a video). We will be continuing this video tomorrow. Also, students will receive quiz number two tomorrow and the corrections are due this Freitag.
Spanish students, quiz corrections are due this viernes. Please do them! Today we learned about nouns and verbs. We learned that nouns have a gender. They are either masculine or feminine. Also, there are three types of verbs. They are -ar, -er and -ir. More to come tomorrow!
French students were very lucky and were able to visit Paris today! They received their quiz #2 and corrections for that is due this vendredi also.
