What a short week! All students today reviewed their vocabulary one quiz. Quiz corrections were explained to all classes and are due on the following Monday.
In German class we traveled to German with Mr. Rick Steves in a video series.
Spanish class learned about the Quinceanera.
French students visited Paris!

All students are taking their first vocabulary quiz today. Quizzes will be returned on Monday and all students will have a chance to complete quiz corrections to improve their score.

Today, German studentls continued their vocabulary lesson on the word cognate. They are working on a cognate poster.
Spanish students practiced their vocabulary with a few listening activities and then they began learning how to tell time.

French students practiced their number skills through song and a verbal activity. Today they contributed to their B.A.V binder with the word cognate and then a poster to showcase their knowledge of this word.

German students worked on learning their colors today. We played an exciting game that moved us around the classroom and had two worksheets.
Spanish students practiced saying their days of the week and also how to say the date correctly. Remember, the days of the week and months in Spanish are not capitalized.

German students had a jammed packed hour of learning today! We practiced our numbers through a new song, and an awesome nursery rhyme! We also began watching Henning’s Haus to help us practice our vocabulary one sheet. There is homework tonight, it is the Greetings Packet. However, this is too large of a file to post online. Absent work will be placed in the out-box.

Spanish class also had a full class period today. They received vocabulario uno (vocab 1), practiced their numbers, small talk and the differences between formal and informal you.

French students began their class period by learning their alphabet and numbers. We learned the numbers song and practiced the alphabet with a partnered dot to dot and explored our textbook. Homework tonight is to finish worksheet I-63.

woooh, spooky day today. I hope that you have a lucky day!
Because of incentives today and it being a 1/2 day, there was no work given.
German students were able to play Bingo for a small amount of time to practice numbers. Spanish students watched a great video on food in Mexico. Would you like a grasshopper taco? French students watched an episode of Sponge Bob in French!
Remember, extra-credit is due tonight by midnight.

I hope everyone had a great day off yesterday! I even was able to sleep in. Yeah!!! Every class today took a quiz over how the classroom works. Corrections will be available starting tomorrow for any student who did not receieve 100%.
German students practiced the German alphabet today with songs and a partnered activity. They also began learning their numbers and started practice with this through a worksheet.

Spanish students finished their video on the ten reasons to learn Spanish. They then chose their Spanish name for this rotation, learned their ABC’s and 123’s.
French students also chose their French name, finished their video, learned the alphabet and numbers with a partnered activity to practice the numbers.

We were able to review the final exams today. Tomorrow students will receive their final grade for my class and Monday will be their last day for rotation two. Please review with your student their school schedule so that they know what new class they start on Tuesday.
